Privacy policy

Draft Night Live is designed to turn a signed-in ESPN Fantasy Football draft into a TV-friendly board without collecting ESPN credentials or building a remote database of your league activity.

What the companion accesses

When syncing is enabled, the Chrome companion runs only on supported ESPN Fantasy pages and the Draft Night Live board. It reads the league and draft-room information needed for the board: league name and ID, team and manager display information, draft order and status, completed selections, and clock signals.

What it does not collect

The companion does not ask for, read, or store your ESPN password. It does not copy authentication cookies, payment information, email, private messages, or unrelated browsing history. Draft Night Live does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.

Where data is stored

Normalized draft data is stored in Chrome extension local storage on the user's device and is shared only with a supported Draft Night Live tab in the same Chrome profile. Manager aliases and uploaded photos remain in that board's local browser storage. Draft Night Live does not upload this information to an application database.

Sharing and sale

Draft Night Live does not sell, rent, or share user data for advertising, credit, insurance, employment, or other unrelated purposes. Data is used only to provide the user-facing draft synchronization and TV-board experience.

Permissions

The extension requests access to supported ESPN Fantasy pages so it can detect draft state, and to the Draft Night Live board so it can deliver the normalized display state. Chrome storage keeps the user's league configuration and most recent board state. Scripting and tab access let the user reconnect already-open ESPN and board tabs.

Retention and deletion

Users can pause syncing from the companion. Removing the extension deletes its Chrome-local data according to Chrome's extension behavior. Manager photos and aliases can be removed from the board setup or by clearing site data for Draft Night Live.

Limited use

Use of information received from Chrome is limited to providing and improving Draft Night Live's single disclosed purpose. The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Children and changes

Draft Night Live is not directed to children under 13. This policy may be updated when the product or its data practices change; the effective date above will be revised.
